hot take but i am so fucking sick of people saying that cringe culture doesnt exist but only applying that to things that they enjoy or deem “okay” to like. if you believe that cringe culture doesnt exist you have to mean all forms of it. people who claim that they dont support cringe culture but then turn around and perpetuate it by making fun of people who like “weird” or “cursed” things like homestuck or danganronpa or people who modify furbies or modify dolls or or listen to musicals/enjoy theatre or people who still watch kids shows or people who identify as aromantic/asexual (dont try to deny it, youve thought of an aro/ace person as “cringy” before) are the worst kinds of people.
being anti cringe culture isnt just being free to play minecraft and undertale its not making fun of people who you think are “weird” because of their interests and the way they are. people who like homestuck or listen to musicals or are passionate about toys from the 90′s arent hurting anyone, so why would you want to hurt them?
